2009/10 season

10th April 2010
Pool Res. 1 Harrogate Railway Res. 1

Pool gained another valuable point against league leaders Harrogate Railway. There was nothing between the teams until Pool broke the deadlock via a Graeme Evans penalty. This stirred Railway into action, totally dominating the second half, however a little luck and some stout defending, along with a confident display by young Jack Realey in the Pool goal almost kept them at bay, a wickedly deflected shot giving them the equalising goal. Nevertheless, given Railways second half superiority, Pool were happy with the point.

Clifford 4 Pool Res. 2

Pools climb out of the relegation zone faltered at Clifford, goals from Andre Seelig and Tom Harding not enough as the home side netted four. Their survival is though still in their own hands, and a return to recent form should see them through.

Addingham  1-4  Pool Reserves

Addingham took an early lead in this massive six pointer relegation battle. This woke Pool up, importantly equalising quickly to ease the nerves. They then went on to score three more to take the points, their goals coming from :- Kevin Dennison, Tom Harding, Scott Halligan, and Darren Goodwin. The win gives Pool a little breathing space, but there is still work to do.
