League Shield Final
Pool AFC U16 Girls travelled to Hemsworth
Miners Welfare on Sunday 9th May to face Wortley Girls in the Final of the West Riding Girls Football League Shield Competition.
The game was played in good spirit by both sides and Pool could have secured victory much earlier in the game, having a number
of chances, but finally found the back of the net in the 70th minute with a well taken goal by Rianne Woodham to secure a
1-0 victory. Pool would like to thank all the supporters for travelling to Hemsworth to support the team and to Mick
from Winter Products Ltd for sponsoring the girls this season.
